In June of 2020 we made the trip back to Steve and Sue Rolfing's Great Northern Ranch. We were en route to Bozeman, Montana to meet Paul and Sally Taylor when Steve and Sue graciously hosted us for a short visit. Our first trip to Great Northern Ranch was in July of 2018, as we interviewed them for the very first issue of American Llama. It is well worth reading again, find it by clicking here. We were excited to see all of the 2020 crias. The Rolfings borrowed Sijama Ikandy again last year, so much like our first visit several of the crias were by him. There were also a few Vigilante offspring. GNLC Hightower spent last spring at Sijama Llamas. Our trip for issue one was made in 2018, so it was fun to see the animals born in 2019. We also got to see some of the animals who were youngsters during our first visit. GNLC Brunello and GNLC Tesio are being test bred this year, so we may see offspring from them in 2021. It was nice to see these familiar faces again. If you'd like to read more about the Rolfings and see more pictures of their beautiful ranch check out issue one of American Llama Magazine.
